Full Day Kintamani & Barong Dance Tour

The spectacular mountainous region around Kintamani with its deep Crater Lake and bubbling hot springs, make this region a must to visit. Batur Lake is the largest lake in Bali and the region offers some of the most spectacular views to be found anywhere on the island. Batur Lake also provides water for an underground network of streams and springs across the southern slopes of the mountain. Kintamani is really great for day trips, trekking or simply for getting away from it all for a few days. The villages of kintamani and Penelokan provide a great view of the still active Mount Batur and its fantastic lake. Seven miles in diameter and sixty feet deep, Batur caldera is simply astounding.

An archaeological complex lies on gorge of Pakerisan River . To reach the complex visitors must walk about 600 meters from the parking area to the ticket counter than walked down on 315 stone steps. Before take a cross on the bridge at the bottom of the valley make a turn to the left to see the first stone monument. Another group of stone monument is located on the left side of the main temple across of the river.

The monuments are hewn in relief on a solid rock hill commonly called candi (temple). There are shaped like burial towers found all over Central and East Java . However, there are many theories telling identity of the royal personages honored here. One very credible theory suggests the five temple in the main group were built for King Udayana, his Javanese queen Gunapriya, his concubine, his illustrious eldest son Airlangga who ruled over East Java , and his youngest son Anak Wungsu. Reigning over Bali from AD 1050 to 1077, Anak Wungsu is believed to have given up his kingdom to become a religious hermit.

Barong & Kris Dance
Barong is probably the most well known dance. It is also another story telling dance, narrating the fight between good and evil.Barong dance is the classic example of Balinese way of acting out mythology, resulting in myth and history being blended into one reality. The story goes that Rangda, the mother of Erlangga, the King of Bali in the tenth century, was condemned by Erlangga's father because she practiced black magic. After she became a widow, she summoned all the evil spirits in the jungle, the leaks and the demons, to come after Erlangga. A fight occurred, but she and her black magic troops were too strong that Erlangga had to ask for the help of Barong. Barong came with Erlangga's soldiers, and fight ensued. Rangda casted a spell that made Erlangga soldiers all wanted to kill themselves, pointing their poisoned keris into their own stomachs and chests.
Batublan for Batik Collaction
Tohpati village is famous for producing Batik painting in Bali. It is located on the eastern part of  Denpasar. In products from batik fabrics you will see the artistic excellence of the Balinese people. Their beautiful designs, inspired by religious mythologies to everyday encounters, spread throughout the world. Modern batik artists express themselves through various subjects (objects of nature - birds, fish, flowers) and religious and mythological stories, accompanied by modern interpretation.
Celuk Gold & Silver
Be sure not to miss the shops on the road just north and parallel to the main road, as many fine jewelers dwell here off the beaten track. Just past most of the art shops on the left is an asphalt road flanked by two small stone statues which will take you to the pack roads of Celuk and Batuan. You can request to see the workshop – usually a small room or area in the back with five to 20 workers, some not even in their teens. The intricacy and details they can obtain with simple and tools is amazing. Craftsmen use a tree stump with a protruding metal spike for an anvil, a bamboo stem to catch the filings, and a manually operated gas pump for heat.As with most Balinese crafts, smithing is largely an hereditary art.
Ubud Balinese Painting
Traditional paintings in Bali depicted religious scenes and were placed in temples and palaces. The colors were muted in the traditional paintings but that changed with the advent of Ubud style paintings. Famous European artists such as Walter Spies and Rudolf Bonnet, who lived in Bali in the 1930's introduced vibrant colors, painting single scenes rather than narrative stories and paintings of people from everyday life rather than religious, heroic figures. In the 1960's Dutch artist Arie Smit encouraged and instructed many budding artists and created a naive style of genre painting called "Young Artists". Today, these famous styles have evolved and are exhibited in the museums and galleries throughout the island.
Coffee Plantation
The island of Bali, Indonesia has number one of coffee plantations. The Dutch colony introduced the coffee bean to the island and exported it worldwide. Long after Bali gained independence from the Netherlands, coffee plantations are still major money makers. They produce coffee for export and double as tourist attractions. Bali coffee found mostly in the mountain central part of Bali, there are 2 kinds of Bali coffee the farmers grow in Bali is Arabica Coffee and Robusta Coffee. Robusta is one of coffee species grows in the highland
Art Market
The art crafting are sold in this art market consisted of various crafting, from traditional until contemporary crafting which its price is relatively cheap. You can do the transaction directly to the merchant which generally can be bargained. All the crafting sold in this place you can bring home as souvenir like slipper, wood idol, bag, clothes, matting, painting and a lot of more.

Holy Spring Temple Tirta Empul
The name of Tirta Empul is loaded in a inscription which is kept at Sakenan Temple, Manukaya village, Sub district of Tampak Siring, about 3 km from Tirta Empul Temple. In this inscription, the Tirta Empul is named by the Tirta Ri Air Hampul and then the name has changed into Tirta Hampul and finally become the Tirta Empul. Tirta Ri air hampul is meaning the water emerge or the holy pool (Petirthan) which is the water emerge from the land.
Tegallalang Rice Pady Terrace
Tegallalang is one of the famous tourism objects in Ubud that “must to visit”. Because it panorama is a unique place in the world. It offers a wide range of natural landscape, rice terraces are everywhere in this island, and I never bored of looking at the green steps over and over.countryside is located at 5 km northern part of Ubud Village and own the magnificent view of rice terrace.
